Two new books has become available to the histotechnologist. The College of American Pathologist launched the textbook,Histologic Preparations: Common Problems and Their Solutions. This book was co authored by several histotechnologist members of the HistoQIP Committee from CAP. Histotechnology: A Self-Instructional Text from Freida Carson & Christa Hladik has been completly updated in the new 3rd edition covering chapters on immunohistochemistry, molecular techniques and cytopreparation.
